The Institute for the Arts and Humanities (IAH), PSU, January 2005-December 2009
Responsible for the design of all faculty and guest speaker lecture flyers and posters. Rebranding of the IAH look at feel including Newsletter, lecture posters, email banners, and promotional materials. Designer and Photographer for the August Wilson Play Festival at Penn State. Redesigning the IAH logo for the 40th year anniversary for 2006.

Nickelodeon (MTV Networks), New York, NY, February to August 2000
Designer for Nickelodeon Consumer Product’s NickToons Group. Design of packaging and Products for Nickelodeon branded products as well as property specific items. These items include Nickelodeon Toothpaste, multi property fruit snacks, SpongeBob SquarePants Style Guide, Kites, Lunchboxes. Art Direction of many outsourced projects, including multi property matchbox cars, Valentines day cards, school binders and folders, Paramount Parks Billboards and Goooze product lines, such as multi-packs and property connected Goooze items such as SpongeBob Branded Goooze. Other responsibilities include color management, Software and Hardware research via visits to seminars such as Seybold and Macworld. Assisted in the working relations between Nick Creative and the onsite support groups of Xerox and Infoworks Macsupport.
MTV Networks (Infoworks), New York, NY, March of 1999 to February 2000
Macintosh Field Support Technician for InfoWorks Group at MTV Networks. Support of the creative departments at MTV, Nickelodeon and VH1. Duties included Troubleshooting Macintosh computers for Designers, Directors, VPs, and Presidents of all off-air groups, as well as MTV Animation including Celebrity Death Match and Blues Clues Productions. Deployment of new machines to users, as well as redeployment of existing machines. Specializing in troubleshooting both Hardware and Software related issues. Managed the troubleshooting of a major RAM incompatibility problem, with the assistance of technicians at Microtech International, resulting in the exclusive use of Microtech’s RAM in all newly deployed Macintosh Computers.

Office assistant for Ray and Sherman Foote. Basic troubleshooting of Macintosh computers for sound designers and engineers. Assisted in the research of new Hardware and software for both Production and Administrative staff. Assisted in design of packaging look and label system for video and audio tapes. Maintenance and Development of Macintosh hardware, software and audio/asset tracking system.

MoCA & Spelling Productions, Los Angeles, CA 1996-1997

Created custom props for Melrose Place, concentrating on wall art, and package design of fictitious brewery for Shooters Bar. The fictitious brewery named 28IF focused it’s line on the Beatles Abby Road Album cover for design, and used the urban myth and public’s perception during the period for the design of each beer. The project was exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Temporary Contemporary space in downtown Los Angeles.

2008 Fabric Workshop Museum, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Summer 2008 Apprenticeship program which involved a collaborative 2 color fabric design project and an independent single color print design. For the collaborative project I art directed and was in charge of the pattern development of the group design. Other duties included assisting the workshop with organizing artists printing screens at their offsite storage space prior to their office move.
2008 Global Business Brigades, Los Angeles, California.
Art Directed the Panama City Small Business Brigades during the spring 2008 season. During the 10 day session, a group of students designed business plans and created marketing materials for 3 businesses.
2008 Centre Learning Community Charter School, State College, Pennsylvania.
Taught 2 day workshop with a museum visit for 7th and 8th graders on renaissance art and the impact of perspective and image hierarchy and it’s relationship to design hierarchy.
2006 Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
Taught 1 day workshop for yearbook group on InDesign and InCopy, focusing specifically on the use of style sheets for publishing large documents.
2006 State College High School, State College, Pennsylvania
Assisted Set Designers for Pirates of Penzance. Worked with the State High thespians on creating set pieces for their 2006 spring play.
